At 6 feet by 9 feet, Come This Way is the largest original I’ve ever created. What began as a simple landscape slowly transformed into a living story, filled with people, animals, and quiet movement. As I painted, I found myself stepping inside the scene, walking the red dirt road with a child in my arms, the sun on my back, and a breeze flowing through a nearby grass shack. It’s a moment from another time, inspired by my deep love for Hawaiian and Polynesian culture.
